RCDevs Security SA (“RCDevs”, ”we” or ”us”) is committed to protecting the privacy of our customer’s personal information. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, transfer and disclose personal information, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation coming into effect on 25 May 2018. This Policy applies to the RCDevs website at www.rcdevs.com (the “Site”) and the RCDevs demo service (the “Service” or the “Services”). It also tells you how we use cookies and other tracking technologies.
1. Changes to our Private Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time so please check back regularly to keep informed of updates. OpenOTP provides the highest level of functionality available in the sector. Yet our engineers designed it focussing on high security, performance, simplicity and intuitivity. As a result, OpenOTP is the only solution at this level of functionality, that is being successfully installed and integrated by hundreds of companies without requiring any additional assistance.
2. Personally Identifiable Information
Personally Identifiable Information (“PII”) is collected on this website only by one’s voluntary registration. PII is any information that may be used to contact, identify or locate an individual, and includes, but is not limited to, your name, phone number, electronic mail and postal addresses. RCDevs collects PII under the following scenarios:
When you choose to purchase via our online store, you must create an account and we collect PII as address, telephone number, etc. We collect this information in order to be able to contact you during our commercial relationship, to proceed to your order and to manage your account.
When you submit a form to contact us through our website we collect information as your name, electronic email and country. We collect this information to respond to your questions and contact you during our commercial relationship.
When you create a demo account we collect information as name, electronic mail address, and phone number. This information as mandatory to give you the opportunity to test our products.
The collected information will not be transferred to any third party for the purpose of direct marketing. RCDevs will keep this data only as long as necessary for fulfilling the purposes for which your consent was given or as necessary for the satisfaction of our legal obligations.
3. Non-Personally Identifiable Information
RCDevs also collects non-personally identifiable information (“Non-PII”) via the Site and Service. Non-PII is information that may not, on its own, be used to identify or locate a personal or entity, and includes, but not limited to, your server IP address, browser type, the number of users. RCDevs collects Non-PII under the following scenarios:
The information as the numbers of users, the server IP addresses are required for RCDevs to proceed to the orders and for the Services.
Non-PII are also collected by third parties as described in the Part 5. below.
4. Cookies and Tracking Pixels
RCDevs uses “cookies” in connection with the user session on the Service. A cookie is a small data file that the RCDevs servers transfer to your computer for record-keeping purposes. RCDevs only uses “session ID cookies”.
5. Third Party Data Collection
RCDevs may use third-party companies to collect PII and Non-PII (e.g., the pages you visit, and which links you click, and the categories of search terms you enter, and certain demographic information) when you visit the RCDevs Site. Please note that some Non-PII (which does not include demographic information) is also collected from End Users who simply visit the Site. Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter referred to as “Google“. Google Analytics employs “cookies” too. The information generated by these cookies, such as time, place and frequency of your visits to our site, including your IP address, is transmitted to Google’s location in the US and stored there. We use Google Analytics with an IP anonymization feature on our website. In doing so, Google abbreviates and thereby anonymizes your IP address before transferring it from member states of the European Union or signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Google will use this information to evaluate your usage of our site, to compile reports on website activity for us, and to provide other services related to website- and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties if this is required by law or to the extent this data is processed by third parties on Google´s behalf. Google states that it will in never associate your IP address with other data held by Google. You can prevent cookies from being installed by adjusting the settings on your browser software accordingly. You should be aware, however, that by doing so you may not be able to make full use of all the functions of our website. Google also offers a disabling option for the most common browsers, thus providing you with greater control over the data which is collected and processed by Google. If you enable this option, no information regarding your website visit is transmitted to Google Analytics. However, the activation does not prevent the transmission of information to us or to any other web analytics services we may use. When you use our online tchat, you must fill in your name and electronic mail address. This information is collected by tawk.to company. When you choose to subscribe to the RCDevs Technical Group, and/or the Developer Group and/or the RCDevs Announcements Group, Google collects PII as your email address to send you technical information and/or general announcements about our products and services.
6. Information Sharing and Disclosure
In addition to the data collection and use practices outlined above, we may share or otherwise disclose information to third parties under the following circumstances.
Credit Card Information.
Credit or debit card information and personal financial account information are considered “Sensitive Information.” We do not collect credit card, debit card or personal financial account information when you sign up for the Service, because we use a third-party company. These third parties have access to PII only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated by contract not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
Compliance with Laws and Law Enforcement.
RCDevs cooperates with government and law enforcement officials and private parties to enforce and comply with the law. RCDevs will disclose any information about you to government or law enforcement officials or private parties as RCDevs, in its sole discretion, believes necessary or appropriate to respond to claims and legal process (including but not limited to subpoenas), to protect the property and rights of RCDevs or a third party, to protect the safety of the public or any person, or to prevent or stop any activity RCDevs may consider to be or to pose a risk of being, illegal, unethical, inappropriate or legally actionable.
Business Transfers
RCDevs may sell, transfer or otherwise share some or all of its assets, including PII and any other information it has, in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets, or in the event of bankruptcy.
7. Changing or Deleting Your Information
Anyone with a registered RCDevs account may review, update, correct or delete the PII in their registration profile by logging into their account. RCDevs may retain an archived copy of your records as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
As required by the EU General Data Protection Regulation coming into effect on 25 May 2018, you are entitled to request access to, rectification or deletion of your processed personal data at any time. To exercise this right, please contact RCDevs’ legal team at privacy@rcdevs.com. You may object to the processing of your personal data at any time, except if otherwise permitted by applicable law.
You may decline to share certain PII with us. In this case, we may not be able to provide you some of the features and functionalities of our services.
8. Information Security
The security of your information is important to us, including but not limited to the PI collected via the Site and Service. We have implemented reasonable security measures to protect the information in our care, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
9. International Transfer – Storage in the European Union
Information collected on this Site or via the Service may be maintained on — computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your jurisdiction. If you are located outside the European Union and choose to provide information to RCDevs, please be advised that we transfer PI to the European Union and process it there in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation coming into effect on 25 May 2018. Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your consent to that transfer.
10. Applicable law and jurisdiction
Use of this website and any litigation arising out of that use is subject to the laws of Luxembourg and will be submitted to the jurisdictions of Luxembourg.
